Five and Daenerys fell for each other quite accidentally and you are looking at the seventh incarnation of their community website. They have blundered from idea to idea but finally believe they've got the right system.

History

In December 2002 Five started a free Suddenlaunch forum to give Dae a place to post. Dae posted 933 posts on that forum and while she did that the forum grew to a small group of regular posting members, many of whom were Five and Dae's online friends, some who became Five and Dae's online friends. Suddenlaunch forums, great and free as they are, still had some limitations and the offer of a hosted forum from a friend was gladly taken. But about a year later Five and Dae bought their own domain, www.fiveanddae.com. They tried out many types of forums an portals until they settled for Mambo and PHPBB in August 2007.

Goals

What Five and Dae is exactly is hard to put into words. It's a place for friends to meet. Either for old friends or to meet new people. It's free. And fun. The staff (that's Five and Dae, and the rest) will always try to make this a fun place where new things happen and a place for you to contribute. Half of what Five and Dae is, is what members can and want to add to it. Your ideas and creativity are highly valued.

The Staff

Five, admin: Five is a young man from England who lives with Daenerys in The Netherlands. He is one of the admins of the site and co-owner. His skills include writing awesome rpg-posts, coding mIRC games and tinkering with the site.

Daenerys, admin: Daenerys is the other half of Five and Dae. As one of the admins and owners she is mostly involved with the graphics, layout and coding of html and so on. Her skills include making pixel art items and posting photographs of the eight seven six five mice Five and Dae own.

Spike, co-admin forum assistant troubleshooter: Spike is an administrator on the forum part of the site, but is mainly there to help out Five and Dae with some forum issues. His skills include loosing music cd's, inventing new words and finding coding errors.

Odin, moderator: part of the original forum, Odin has proven that he is a capable moderator. A long-time friend of Five, but also of Dae, he is a creative writer, who has claims to a singing voice (though we never heard him sing so far). His skills include locking threads when needed and supplying feedback on anything: from role playing to colourschemes.

Gimmic, moderator: by no means a wallflower, Gimmic is a modest young woman with great compassion, and a great sense of humour. Her moderating powers are new to her, but we know she is very capable of handling the power. Her skills include keeping the role playing adventure going and stunning the audience with amazing avatar creations.
